Curly

Remember the dog that Cj Seven and I fed at NGC last night? Well here's an update. Woke up today around 11am to a very good news.
The pending home of Curly became official! Excited, Teresa Labayen Lavilla and I went to NGC around 11:30 to look for Curly so we could bring him to the vet asap and meet his new family there. We were in doubt that we'd find him at first because it was very hot. We thought that he might've went home (if he had an owner). God really is good because in less than 10 minutes, we were able to find him resting under a truck in the back parking lot near the police headquarters. There, we asked one of the officers to help us call a tricycle so we could bring Curly to the vet. I think he recognized my voice because as i called to him, he wagged his tail and exposed his belly as if asking me to rub it. I couldn't reach under the truck so I called him to come out which he obediently followed.
I quickly carried him in my arms without any second thoughts and proceeded to Redmarks Animal Clinic where doc Cheryll assessed his condition and gave whatever treatment was necessary. He was just very calm and submissive the whole while, probably because he knew we were going to help him. They had to put a muzzle on him for a little while (for safety purposes only, not because he's aggressive) while doc was checking his injury and putting on a splint.
A few minutes later, Fritzel Cadorna Tabaque arrived, then Curly's official pawrent Lila R Yu followed with her cute daughter Danica and their kind helper Lea. They were very excited and happy to see Curly. They provided for the vet bills and bought a new leash and collar for him. Danica even wanted to buy him treats! Doc Cheryll said the splint was temporary and that Curly needed an x-ray on the fractured arm, which maam Lila agreed (they'll be bringing him for an x-ray on tuesday). After that, together we went to bring Curly to his new home! We were all very excited for him.
When we finally arrived, we were so happy and surprised to see that they had the perfect place for him! There was definitely enough space for him to run around and play when he gets better. The people there were very friendly and gave Curly a warm welcome. They also had other dogs (a lab, a shih tzu and 2 doxies) and a cat that Curly could play with. There we introduced curly to everyone, put him in a spot where he'll be most comfortable, and gave him food and water. Thank you to everyone who helped make the rescue of Curly a success. I cannot say that this is a happy ending. It's a new beginning for Curly's happily ever after.
